Correspondence between Official University Qualifications (‘pre-Bologna’) and NQF Levels
This service allows you to obtain a certificate confirming the correspondence of the qualifications of Architect, Engineer, Graduate, Technical Architect and Technical Engineer with the National Qualification Framework levels for higher education. Certificates can only be applied for and issued electronically, through the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training website. Correspondence of the qualification to be applied for must have been published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). This service also allows for subsequent consultation of the processing status of records, should a certificate of correspondence not have been obtained directly. - Consult the list of official qualifications and find out what position yours is in.
- Download the pdf with the certificates by degree and locate yours, which will be found on the page that indicates the index of the previous point.
In the section Catalog of "pre-Bologna" university degrees by areas, you can consult the complete catalog of degrees (pre-Bologna), with a link to the official resolution published in the BOE of the correspondence of each degree with its MECES level (Grade or Master).
GENERAL INFORMATION
Description:
Through this service, you can obtain a certificate of correspondence of an Architect, Engineer, Graduate, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer or Diploma at the levels of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education. The certificate is requested and issued electronically, exclusively, through the Electronic Office of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. It is essential that the correspondence of the title to be requested is published in the BOE.
This service also allows for subsequent consultation of the status of the file processing, in the event of not having obtained the certificate of correspondence directly.
Recipients:
Architects, Engineers, Graduates, Technical Architects, Technical Engineers and Graduates.
Requirements:
Be in possession of an official Spanish university degree of Architect, Engineer, Graduate, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer and Diploma whose correspondence with a MECES level has been approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers, published in the BOE and registered in the Register of Universities, Centers and Titles (RUCT).
Royal Decree 967/2014, of November 21, does not establish correspondences at the MECES level of homologation credentials. The MECES level correspondence certificate is aimed at university degrees obtained in Spain and to guarantee the rights of graduates of Spanish universities abroad.

It is recalled that section 1 of article 27 of Royal Decree 967/2014, of November 21, establishes: "possession of the corresponding MECES level by a graduate will be accredited with the mere reference of the publication in the Official State Gazette , presented jointly with the title in question".
