Specific ucranians request
IMPORTANT:
Order PCM/169/2022, of 09 March, creating the procedure for recognising temporary protection for individuals affected by the conflict in Ukraine, was published on 10 March and took effect the same day. Based on this procedure, applicants are assigned a Foreigner Identity Number (NIE). The Ministry of Universities will review ex officio all applications with a NIE included on its website, from the date of publication until 19 April, when this informatory note is published.

This email address may only be used for communication regarding records on previous applications for recognition and declaration of equivalence of foreign university qualifications by individuals covered by the procedure established in the aforementioned Order PCM/169/2022, who are in one of the following situations:
a) Ukrainian nationals who resided in Ukraine before 24 February 2022.
b) Stateless individuals and third-party nationals (not Ukrainian citizens) who had international protection or equivalent national protection in Ukraine before 24 February 2022.
c) Family members of those covered by points a) and b), namely:
i. spouse or civil partner.
ii. single children who are minors, or those of their spouse, regardless of whether they were born in or out of wedlock or were adopted.
iii. other close relatives who lived as part of the family unit at the start of the armed conflict, and who depended totally or mainly on the other members.
d) Ukrainian nationals who were staying in Spain before 24 February 2022 and, as a consequence of the armed conflict, cannot return to Ukraine.
e) Third-party nationals or stateless individuals who resided legally in Ukraine, on the basis of a valid, legal residence permit (whether permanent or another type, such as for students), issued in accordance with Ukrainian law, and who cannot safely and permanently return to their country or region.
f) Ukrainian nationals who were irregular migrants in Spain before 24 February 2022 and, as a consequence of the armed conflict, cannot return to Ukraine.
g) Family members of those covered by points d) and e), under the terms detailed in point c).
In the email, you must indicate the situation justifying this recognition (one of the points above), your NIE obtained during the procedure, the full name(s) of the applicant and other related individuals, the date of application for recognition of equivalence of your foreign qualification, and your “Acceda” website code or “Geiser” registration code from the corresponding submission.
The relevant checks will be made with the Ministry of the Interior, to determine the suitability of each application sent to the aforementioned email address.
