VALIDe is an online service offered by the Spanish Ministry of Territorial Policy for validating Electronic Signatures and Certificates. This is a baseline solution for compliance with the identification and authentication measures described in Spanish Law 39/2015, of 01 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations.
This service allows users to check if the certificate that they use is valid and has not been revoked. It also allows them to check the validity of an electronic signature made using a digital certificate issued by a recognised certification service provider, and to sign documents using digital certificates protected by the corresponding private key.
