Accreditation of Spanish titles for the exercise of the professions regulated by directive 2005/36/CE for the purposes of their exercise in another country of the European Union

GENERAL INFORMATIONDeadline for submitting applications: PERMANENTLY OPEN Description This service allows you to apply for accreditation of official Spanish qualifications providing access to professions regulated in Spain under directive 2005/36/EC, for the purposes of professional activity in another European Union or European Economic Area country, or in Switzerland. PROCESSINGSubmission of applications This procedure will be processed by electronic means. Applications will be processed strictly in order of receipt date and duplicate applications will be rejected. Digital processing of applications Please do not send a digital application if you have previously submitted an in-person application. You can access the digital processing of your Spanish Qualification Accreditation application via the “Procedures” tab on the Ministry of Universities website, selecting the “University Qualifications” option. To submit your application, please click the “Access the Procedure” button at the bottom right of the screen and access the processing area. You can identify yourself using the cl@ve system; the processing page includes all the information on the necessary requirements. You also have the option to identify yourself with a user name and password. To do so, you must create a user name beforehand on the website. It has several different tabs for completing the requested information. Please prepare the documentation to add to your application; the digital procedure will require the necessary documentation for your case. You can save a draft of your application and progressively add your documentation before submission. Once you have submitted your application by pressing “send”, it will also be recorded in the General Public Administration Register, and the system will generate proof of submission to this register. Once your application has been registered, you will be able to consult your record. |
DOCUMENTATION FOR SUBMISSION1. Application Your application must be accompanied by the following documentation: 1. A document proving your identity and nationality, issued by the competent authorities in your country of origin, or by the competent Spanish authorities for Foreign Affairs. In the case of Spanish citizens, your national identity document or authorisation to verify the identity details held for you by the Administration. 2. Your academic qualification or provisional temporary certificate signed by the Dean and, if applicable, your professional qualification. For qualifications obtained outside Spain, your recognition of equivalence letter or equivalence certificate. 3. The academic certificate for the studies completed to obtain your qualification, including (amongst other points) the duration of your studies in academic years and the subjects taken, or a Diploma Supplement. For qualifications obtained outside Spain, the original diploma for which recognition or declaration of equivalence was given. The aforementioned documents are essential for beginning the procedure. 2. Specific documentation In the following cases, in addition to the aforementioned documentation for opening your record, you must submit the following specific documentation: • Healthcare professions A copy of your association certificate, indicating that you have not been suspended or disqualified, and that you have not been banned from your professional activity in Spain. This certificate must have been issued in the last three months by the General Council of Associations or, if applicable, by the corresponding Professional Association. • Physiotherapists Your official internship certificate, issued by the university in accordance with the template agreed upon by the National Conference of Deans of Physiotherapy Faculties. • Teachers For Spanish citizens: sexual offences certificate For foreign citizen or Spanish citizens with dual nationality: you must request from the authorities of your other country of citizenship a certificate detailing, if applicable, your criminal record for sexual offences. • Teachers of Mandatory and Advanced Secondary Education, Vocational Training teachers and Languages teachers The official internship certificate from your enabling Master’s course, issued by the University and detailing the school, period of duration, number of ECTS credits and number of in-person hours. • Primary teachers who wish to certify the option of teaching Music, Physical Education, Foreign Languages (English, French, German) or of supporting students with special educational needs Documentation justifying one of the requirements described in articles 5 and 6 of Spanish Royal Decree 476/2013, of 21 June, for primary teachers who wish to certify the option of teaching Music, Physical Education, Foreign Languages (English, French, German) or of supporting students with special educational needs. • Qualifications Recognised as Equivalent Once more than three years have elapsed after the date of recognition of equivalence, you must provide proof of professional activity for at least three years since the aforementioned date, if you have this. |
DEFINITIVE RESOLUTIONResolutions on accreditation of Spanish qualifications will be formalised via an Accreditation Certificate issued by the Ministry of Universities’ General Sub-Directorate of Qualifications and Monitoring and Management of University Education. All Accreditation Certificates will be sent in digital format and will be digitally signed. |
